We’re looking for a Senior Account Executive who can help us take our business to the next level. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales and account management, and will be able to demonstrate a deep understanding of the sales process. They will be responsible for managing a portfolio of accounts, developing new business opportunities, and closing deals. Senior Account Executive Duties:

  • Supervise, train, mentor, and motivate account executives to achieve account objectives

  • Conduct personnel evaluations

  • Develop and present new business development processes including strategies, marketing approaches, and action plans

  • Ensure that new and existing customers receive the best possible service and products

  • Evaluate market conditions, identify new potential customers, and develop effective strategies for developing and maintaining relationships with customers

  • Develop and maintain relationships with senior executives within customer organizations

  • Evaluate the business climate, identify business opportunities, and develop effective plans for accessing and capitalizing on new opportunities

  • Evaluate customer needs, develop effective solutions, and propose appropriate solutions

  • Monitor project schedules and costs

  • Identify and correct problems within assigned territory

Senior Account Executive Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the daily and long-term sales strategy, including prospecting, closing, and fostering customer relationships

  • Identify, develop, and close business in the assigned territory, focusing on new and existing clients

  • Develop relationships with key decision makers and manage project requirements

  • Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with vendors and suppliers

  • Establish and maintain a sales forecast and expense budget

  • Delegate and supervise account management duties to junior staff members

  • Oversee client communication including internal communication within the firm, as well as external communication and public relations

Requirements And Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university

  • 5+ year’s sales experience, ideally in construction or real estate, or a related field

  • Strong business acumen and a record of achieving and exceeding sales goals

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Strong project management skills
