Why move a two-pound burrito with a two-ton car?<h2></h2>As a Robotics Field Operations Technician, you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring the success of our robot fleet through technical maintenance and operational support.Responsibilities<ul style=""><li>Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair robots using hardware and software tools.</li><li>Monitor and support robots in the field, resolving operational issues.</li><li>Assist with the deployment and retrieval of robots in and out of market areas.</li><li>Conduct component-level and assembly-level testing to identify performance issues.</li><li>Provide feedback to engineering and development teams to refine hardware, software, and operational processes.</li><li>Track, manage, and maintain lab and component inventories.</li><li>Log repair activities in Jira, including photos and videos, to inform hardware and software teams.</li><li>Assist merchants, retail staff, and customers during delivery operations.</li><li>Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of robots to uphold Serve Robotics’ brand image.</li></ul>Qualifications<ul style=""><li>2+ years of experience in electro-mechanical, robotics, automotive, electronics, or a similar technical field.</li><li>Proficiency with diagnostic tools, including multimeters, oscilloscopes, and other bench equipment.</li><li>Experience with software and hardware troubleshooting.</li><li>Familiarity with Jira or similar documentation tools.</li><li>Ability to lift 70 lbs and spend extended periods on your feet.</li><li>Comfortable driving U-Haul-sized vehicles.</li><li>Valid U.S. driver’s license.</li><li>Ability to work weekends and flexible shifts, including mornings and evenings.</li></ul>What Makes You Standout<ul style=""><li>Hands-on experience in robotics or automation systems.</li><li>Familiarity with rapid prototyping, testing, or instrumentation.</li><li>Comfortable riding a bicycle in a city environment.</li></ul>
