What will you do in this role?

As a QA Engineer, you will be a member of the Delivery and Support team, helping the company to ensure that the software deployed to our mission customers meets defined quality standards. Additionally, you will ensure that suppliers meet ICEYE's quality standards. You will collaborate with other QAs, Software Engineers, Product and Programme Managers, and client representatives to successfully deliver SAR Satellite Missions. You will communicate with various development teams, create test scenarios based on requirements (manual), execute tests (manual and automated), and report verification and validation results. 

Daily tasks will include executing end-to-end test scenarios in various environments and delivering the required quality reports. You will ensure the quality of feature requirements by analyzing and verifying them with the development team and product owner as part of a team.

In this role, you will ensure the quality of released features by developing detailed test plans, creating test scenarios, executing test scenarios, assessing test results, creating test result reports and reporting bugs.

You will communicate with developers, QAs and project owners on various business requirements. You support the development teams in issue reproduction and root cause analysis. You develop detailed test plans, create test scenarios, execute test scenarios, assess test results, create test result reports, and report bugs.

Occasional traveling to customer sites will be required.

Requirements

What will you need to be successful in this role?

  • Solid understanding of QA principles and practices [3-5 years experience].

  • Good understanding of RESTful APIs and UI testing.

  • Good understanding of different testing techniques and methodologies.

  • Ability to communicate effectively with the Product Manager, Team members and Business stakeholders as well as client representatives.

  • Experience in creating and executing requirement-based and product-based manual test cases.

  • Experience with Linux/Unix OS platforms.

  • Experience with working in Jira or any other test management tool.

  • Ability to occasionally travel to customer sites

In addition to the above, it would be beneficial if you had the below attributes and skills: 

  • Experience in developing project-specific Test Strategies and Test Plans.

  • Experience in automation of RESTful APIs and UI using Selenium, Playwright etc using any coding skills.

  • Experience of working with ISO 9001 and/or ISO27001. 

  • Experience working with Docker, Kubernetes, AWS environments.

  • Base salary range for this position is 4300-5500 per month (gross) contingent on your experience level, and will be negotiated individually
