Responsibilities
- Lead community engagement strategies to ensure meaningful participation in restoration projects.
- Oversee and improve processes for Free, Prior, and Informed Consent (FPIC) across projects.
- Support and manage partners in designing benefit-sharing mechanisms that create lasting economic and social value.
- Strengthen the oversight of local consultants and partners, ensuring high-quality social impact work.
- Drive compliance with global standards (e.g., CCB, Verra) and support certification processes.
- Deliver training sessions and workshops to empower partners and local teams.
- Develop tools and tracking systems to monitor social impact and community outcomes.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to support grant applications, investor due diligence, and impact reporting.
Minimum Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in social impact management, community engagement, or related fields.
- Expertise in FPIC and feedback and grievance redress processes, social impact assessments, and certification frameworks (CCB, Verra, Gold Standard).
- Strong analytical skills and experience developing social impact monitoring plans.
- Experience managing international teams and working across diverse cultural contexts.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build trust with stakeholders.
- Fluency in English (Spanish or French preferred).
- Willingness to travel to remote project sites (up to 25%).
