💼 Your Missions

As a Junior Accountant, you will play a key role in supporting the financial operations of Electra for Switzerland and Austria. You will be responsible for recording and monitoring accounting transactions, assisting in financial reporting, ensuring compliance with tax regulations, and contributing to process improvements.

🦸‍♀️🦸‍♂️Your responsibilities

In coordination with the Finance Manager Alpine and with the HQ Finance Team, you will be responsible for:

General Accounting

• Recording and monitoring accounting entries (clients, suppliers, treasury)
• Reconciling accounts and tracking balances
• Preparing supplier payments

Month-End & Year-End Closing

• Assisting in monthly and annual closings
• Preparing account reconciliations and supporting documents
• Supporting financial statement preparation
• Monitoring provisions and accruals

Tax & Compliance

• Preparing VAT declarations for Switzerland and Austria
• Ensuring compliance with accounting and tax regulations

Controlling Support

• Analyzing budget vs. actuals
• Preparing financial reports for Electra HQ

Tools & Process Improvement

• Collaborating with internal teams and tracking financial flows
• Enhancing accounting processes for increased efficiency

Ad-Hoc Tasks

• Supporting various financial and administrative projects as needed

😎 Your Profile

• Degree in finance, accounting, or a related field
• 2+ years of experience in accounting or financial operations
• Solid knowledge of accounting principles and tax regulations
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Fluency in German and English (French is a plus)
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools
• Experience with ERP systems (such as SAP) is a plus
