We are currently seeking a highly motivated, self-driven, and knowledgeable Software Engineer, II to join our team supporting our continued growth and innovation to build interconnected and resilient communities.
Objective: As a Software Engineer, you will be an integral part of our team, leading the design, development, and troubleshooting of the ecoLong’s software solutions such as: energy trading and optimization, [link], cybersecurity, [link], among others.
Primary Responsibilities for the role (including, but not limited to):
Design, document, and develop quality software solutions spanning multiple platforms
Determine process improvements, best practices, and develop new processes
Demonstrate ability to work in a collaborative environment with evolving project requirements
Ideal candidates will possess the following:
B.S., M.S., or Ph.D in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline
Minimum 2 years of working experience
Deep understanding and development experience (Python, Java, Go, Rust, or similar)
Practical experience designing and delivering high quality end-to-end solutions
Experience with Agile /SCRUM methodology for product development
Experience with building pipelines to automate the software development, testing, and deployment lifecycle like AzureDevOps, Circle CI, etc.
Experience working with Docker and Kubernetes
Experience with open-source container ecosystem or serverless cloud services
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Able to cope with and thrive in a fast paced, dynamic work environment with evolving project requirements
A passion for sustainability and advancing clean energy initiatives

Salary and Benefits :
Commensurate with experience annual base salary ranging from $90,000 to $110,000. Benefits include health insurance, 401(k) with employer match, paid time off, and health and wellness benefits.
