The Power+ Graduate Development Program is our flagship early career rotational program. It covers 13 different countries and is still growing (Brazil, Canada, China, India, Italy, Japan, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Poland, Sweden, Switzerland, United Kingdom, United States, and Vietnam), so you’ll be a member of an expanding global network. This opportunity exposes high potential STEM graduates to different roles and experiences across various Business Units and Functions in Hitachi Energy, offering a unique, learning and career development experience.

Power+ will jumpstart your career with a truly unique journey that will take you across three six-months long rotations (18 months in total). Focusing on projects that broaden your skillset, each rotation will be within a different segment of our business, and you will choose each assignment area. You will join us as a full-time employee, and from day one in the program, you will be in the driver’s seat of your own career journey. The program will begin in September 2025. The first six-months rotation will be possible in our locations in Italy [Lodi, Milano, Monselice (Padova), Santa Palomba (Roma)]. The second or third rotation may be done abroad, depending on your chosen project and the availability of business opportunities.

Your background and skills

• Bachelor’s/master’s degree in STEM (Science, Engineering, Technology, Math).
• Permanent authorization to work in Italy.
• No more than 2 years of professional experience by the start date.
• Languages: > B2 in Italian and English; additional languages are considered as an advantage.
• Striving to achieve and working with high quality standards.
• Analyzing information to generate new solutions and ideas.
• Learning quickly, adapting to change.
• Fostering team cohesion, maintaining good working relationships.
• Having strong leadership potential and personal ownership.

Recruitment roadmap

In this selection process you will go through several stages, carried out in the following time frames:

• Application deadline: 30th April
• Psychometric test (online): 1st May - 15th May
• Teams interview: 16th May - 31st May
• All day assessment center (Milano offices): 1st June - 15th June
• Feedback sharing & hiring information: 30th June the latest
• First Role (Assignment) selection: within July
• Starting date in Hitachi Energy: 1st September
