About the Job
GFL Environmental, located in Courtice, ON is looking for a AZ/DZ Truck Driver to support our Liquid Waste line of business out of our Courtice, ON site. The AZ/DZ Driver will be primarily responsible to collect various liquid and solid hazardous wastes from various customer sites. This AZ or DZ license representative will also have the ability to operate a variety of truck and equipment including vacuum trucks, box trucks, tractor trailer and any other equipment that fits their license.
- Operate Vacuum/Hydrovac Truck, Box Truck, or Tractor Trailer
- Power washing and high pressure water blasting as required
- Line snaking, drain and pipe Inspections as required
- Operate pick-up truck, utility trailer, forklift, excavator, bobcat, etc
- Maintain cleanliness of Tools and Equipment and Industrial Services Shop
- Industrial cleaning of chemical non-hazardous and hazardous waste
- Collection of hazardous and non-hazardous goods
- Complete all necessary paperwork and government documents
- Assist plant operations as required
Knowledge, Skills and Competencies:
- Valid AZ or DZ license
- 1+ year experience with manual transmission required
- Manual dexterity, ability to lift 75+ lbs required
- Professional/mature demeanor under stressful situations
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Will be required to work both indoors and outdoors
- Mechanical aptitude
- Overtime as required
