We’re looking for a creative and proactive Digital Marketing and Social Media Intern to join our team for 6-8 months! If you have a passion for digital marketing, social media, and content development, this is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience while supporting the creation and execution of impactful campaigns. This is a paid position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in developing and executing engaging digital marketing campaigns across social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.).
  • Support the creative process by brainstorming and developing compelling content and campaign ideas that align with the brand’s objectives and resonate with our target audience.
  • Help create, curate, and schedule content for social media channels, ensuring each post is creative, on-brand, and impactful.
  • Collaborate with the team to create visuals, copy, and video content for campaigns, ensuring consistency across all platforms.
  • Monitor campaign performance and assist with reporting, offering insights into campaign effectiveness and areas for improvement.
  • Assist in developing paid advertising campaigns on platforms like Google Ads, Facebook Ads, etc., ensuring they are optimized for maximum performance.
  • Support the creation of blog posts, graphics, videos, and other content pieces that tie into campaign strategies.
  • Help maintain and update our website with fresh content, ensuring it aligns with ongoing campaigns and digital initiatives.
  • Assist in optimizing social media presence and website UX to improve engagement and user experience.
  • Utilize SEO best practices to improve organic search visibility and drive traffic to our content.
  • Monitor campaign performance and assist with reporting, offering insights into campaign effectiveness and areas for improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing or recently (in the last 1-2 years) completed a degree or diploma in Marketing, Communications, Media, or a related field.
  • Previous internship or experience in social media management, content creation, or campaign development is a plus but not required.
  • Experience with Wordpress is a significant asset
  • Basic knowledge of tools such as Canva, Adobe Suite, or similar platforms.
  • Strong writing and copy-editing skills with the ability to tailor messages to various platforms.
  • Knowledge of paid digital campaigns (Google Ads, Facebook Ads, etc.) is a plus.
  • Basic understanding of SEO and how it relates to content creation and campaign performance.
  • A strong passion for digital marketing and creative content creation.
