About this Job

Eridan is revolutionizing wireless communication by developing power-efficient, cost-effective radio solutions that enable the future of connectivity. As we move toward mass deployment of our Radio Unit (RU) in live networks, we are seeking a DevOps Software Engineer to design, build, and maintain a robust Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) framework and testing infrastructure to support our software development and deployment processes.

As our DevOps Software Engineer, you will… 

CI/CD Infrastructure Development & Maintenance

• Design, implement, and maintain Eridan’s CI/CD infrastructure to ensure seamless software integration and deployment.

• Develop and maintain CI pipelines for automated software builds and testing.

• Manage multiple CI and test infrastructure stations and servers, including:

  • CI runners

  • Test stations with RUs

  • OAI DUs

  • Test result visualization servers

  • Backup and artifact storage solutions

• Ensure high availability, scalability, and security of CI/CD environments.

Automation & Software Quality Assurance

• Develop and maintain automated testing pipelines to validate software and hardware integrations.

• Implement test automation frameworks and improve software quality assurance processes.

• Automate test result visualization and reporting to streamline debugging and performance monitoring.

• Utilize open-source DevOps toolchains to optimize workflows.

Server & Infrastructure Management

• Maintain and monitor existing infrastructure in the Sunnyvale office, including:

  • OAI server

  • ICTS server

  • FPGA and CMOS runners

• Ensure efficient resource utilization for software builds and testing environments.

• Manage networked test environments, troubleshooting issues as they arise.

Qualities of a Successful Candidate:

• Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions or similar).

• Strong background in Linux server administration and containerization (Docker).

• Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash) for automation.

• Hands-on experience with software quality assurance and automated testing.

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage complex infrastructure systems.

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Experience with O-RAN and virtual DU setups (OAI).

• Knowledge of backup and artifact storage solutions.

• Familiarity with RF test automation and embedded software validation.

Salary Range

Given our anticipated growth, we are open to hiring individuals with varying levels of experience to fill this role. Salary will be commensurate with job-related skills, experience and other relevant factors. The base salary range for the primary location of this role is between $125,000 and $155,000 plus stock options and benefits.
