Job Summary
We are looking for a candidate for the role of SAP Specialist Make to Deliver to join the ERP CONNECT SAP S4/Hana implementation program.
By joining the ERP CONNECT program, you will be the designated resource within the team, to mesh organizational processes and ERP efficiencies and transfer that knowledge to end users. The SAP super user acts as the internal expert and creates a link between end users and the implementation team. You will act as representative of the Operations team, be the first line of support for end users. This role is required to understand the users and their functions and take an active role during the implementation cycle to learn the SAP solution, test the system, train end users and becoming change and adoption champion of the implementation.
The successful candidate will have demonstrated understanding of manufacturing processes and will have proven experience in the use and implementation of new technologies in environments of varying complexity.
Principal Responsibilities
Provide formal and informal training to end users.
Facilitate knowledge sharing.
Develop knowledge inside the functional area.
Provide 1st line of support to end users on the ERP business processes and tools during hypercare and in sustainment.
Encourage adoption and process adherence after go-live.
Leads by taking notes from the end users and cascades the feedback to the broader implementation team.
Demonstrate strong documentation and communication.
Understand the “TO BE” processes.
Identifies integration points between modules and contact other departments as necessary.
Participate in UAT (User Acceptance Tests) of all business processes in SAP test environments and maintain documentation.
Train and support end users with continuous process improvement, monitoring end-user performance and determining ongoing training needs.
Coach and motivate end users through effective communication. Strong desire to introduce efficiencies and benefits
As an SAP super user, be the gatekeeper for a system that runs smoothly and is utilized to its maximum potential.
Contribute to Change Management efforts as a change agent and an active member of the super user network.
Provide support for the process walkthrough for managers.
Qualifications & Experience
Experience in a manufacturing environment, having prior exposure to manufacturing processes and system implementation, strong business knowledge and understanding of business processes.
Prior exposure to SAP S4/Hana.
Ability to learn quickly and troubleshoot.
Analytical mindset, problem-solving skills and easy adoption of change.
Continuous process improvement skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and French would be preferable
Able to work in a fast-paced environment and demonstrate patience and resilience.
Comfortable to train a large group of users in a classroom setting or online.
Proficient Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Travel: Up to 40% of the time to other IPEX locations across North America.
