Job Description:The Corporate Development &amp; Strategy Analyst assists in evaluating potential M&amp;A transactions and strategic investments by building financial models, supporting due diligence, and developing business cases for acquisitions and strategic partnerships. This individual will also support market and industry analysis as well as other strategic initiatives at Nextracker. The position requires strong business acumen, an understanding of power generation system economics and product ecosystems, a strategic mindset, and sophisticated financial modelling skills.This full-time professional position reports to the Chief Strategy Officer.Duties and Responsibilities:<ul><li>Analyze potential investments, acquisitions, and partnerships through detailed financial modeling, valuation analysis, and market comparables assessments</li><li>Create clear, data-driven presentations and memos to summarize key deal characteristics and insights for senior leadership</li><li>Analyze value creation/ synergy potential, integration considerations, and risks for acquisition targets and partnership opportunities</li><li>Support cross-functional leaders in assessing strategic opportunities and broad due diligence support</li><li>Leverage market and competitive intelligence data to create industry assessments that inform decision-making related to transactions  </li><li>Support transactions team by managing due diligence platforms/ virtual datarooms and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to maintain timelines and deliverables</li><li>Build and maintain models to evaluate general strategic growth opportunities aligned with corporate strategy, including scenario analyses </li></ul>Qualifications:<ul><li>Degree in accounting, finance, economics or a similar quantitative field (MBA or CFA a plus)</li><li>3+ years experience in investment banking, private equity, corporate development or strategic finance (energy industry experience a strong plus)</li><li>Fluency in accounting and financial modeling with strong overall business acumen</li><li>Excellent strategic thinking and problem-solving skills with ability to distill complex analyses into simple terms</li><li>Superior written and verbal communication skills, including ability to communicate cross-functionally and comfort presenting to senior leadership</li><li>Ability to build strong collaborative working relationships while independently managing project objectives</li><li>Excellent Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills</li></ul>Comp range: $130,000- 160,000At Nextpower, we are driving the global energy transition with an integrated clean energy technology platform that combines intelligent structural, electrical, and digital solutions for utility-scale power plants.
