About the Role: The Senior Financial Analyst will be responsible for daily receivable transactions and maintenance of the monthly general ledger. The Senior Financial Analyst will provide support with various accounting transactions as well as financial insight to the health and development of their assigned business entities.

 Salary Range:  $71,000-$88,000 annually

Key Responsibilities 
  • Responsible for organizing monthly general ledger activity for input into the accounting system.
  • Monitors account balances and makes necessary adjustments. 
  • Prepares journal entries.
  • Prepares and processes documentation for internal and external auditors.
  • Identifies and investigates problems with the accounting system on an as-needed basis.
  • Works closely with the field to ensure accuracy of accounting information.
  • Prepares income statements and balance sheet statements, as well as other reports for submission to the region controller.
  • Reviews and verifies the accuracy of journal entries and accounting classifications assigned to various records.
  • Conducts special studies and develops or recommends accounting processes and procedures.
  • Performs monthly bank reconciliations and account analysis.
  • Reconciles assigned accounts and calculates depreciation/amortization expenses as needed.
  • Analyzes trends, costs, revenues, financial commitments, and obligations incurred to predict future revenues and expenses.
  • Analyzes financial reports and records, making recommendations for the accounting of reserves, assets, and expenditures.
  • Works as a business partner with assigned operational entities and their respective general managers.
Qualifications 
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting preferred
  • 2 to 5 years of experience in an accounting department preferred
  • General knowledge of accounting practices and procedures
  • Ability to meet deadlines
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel
  • Experience with other MS Office products
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent organization skills
  • Knowledge of automated account system, J.D. Edwards System is a plus
