Job Description
As Accountant General Ledger (GL) you will be responsible for:
- Handling Fixed Assets (reviewing Fixed Assets in progress account, add/dispose Fixed Assets, run Fixed Assets depreciation).
- Journal entries, including inventory.
- ICO reconciliation (identifying differences, requesting missing invoices/responding to standard queries, analysing data and resolving differences independently).
- Cognos reporting.
- Account reconciliation (performing and documenting subledger reconciliation, performing BSAR reconciliation).
- External reporting (Audit/VAT /Intrastat).
- Transition involvement (preparing GL process overview for the business, highlighting and resolving issues encountered during transition).
- Team support (training new joiners).
- Improvement process (continuously seeking improvement opportunities for executed activities & highlighting potential improvements).
- Stakeholder management.
