Our goal is to enable our employees to achieve their fullest potential, and through our association with Re:Build, provide avenues for personal and professional growth.</p><h2>Who we are looking for</h2><p> The role of a Senior Procurement Specialist at Tekna in Engineering is to source and qualify suppliers, quote tooling/products/services, support PPAP, place purchase orders, confirm invoices, and coordinate/track deliveries in support of Consulting, New Product Development, and Production projects.</p><h2>What you'll get to do</h2><ul><li>Execute the role of buyer with limited oversight by the Project Manager and/or Materials Manager.</li><li>Mentor, train, and support entry level buyers.</li><li>Source/Find new suppliers in support of project goals.</li><li>Submit requests for quotes and place requests for purchase orders for capital tooling and equipment, products and components, and services to support active projects.</li><li>Establish relationships and communications with new and existing suppliers.</li><li>Keep the Project Manager and Lead Engineer advised of cost estimates, cost quotes, cost changes, order status, delivery dates, and changes in order status and delivery dates.</li><li>Facilitate design for manufacturing reviews between design engineers and suppliers.</li><li>Assist Project Manager to ensure that all required design control documentation is completed, and all quality requirements have been met per the quality management system.</li></ul><h2>What you bring to the team</h2><ul><li>Associate or Bachelor Degree in Supply Chain Management or equivalent is preferred.</li><li>2 to 3 years experience as buyer or equivalent. </li><li>A sound knowledge of supply chain management principles.</li><li>An understanding of manufacturing processes and construction methods.</li><li>Good numeracy and digital literacy.</li><li>Ability to mentor and train entry level buyers</li></ul><h2><strong>We want to work with people that reflect the communities in which we operate</strong></h2><p>Re:Build Manufacturing is proud to be an Equal Employment Opportunity and Affirmative Action employer.
