Job Responsibilities
Lead planning and development efforts for a software engineering team, including defining and prioritizing initiatives to drive the roadmap.
Ensure frequent communication with internal customers and understand their needs through in-depth research.
Drive software projects to completion by collaborating with engineering and unblocking any issues that arise.
Work cross-functionally with Architects, Engineers, Technical Product Managers, Data Scientists, Program / Project Managers, and Agronomists.
Understand technology requirements, roadmap, dependencies, evolution, and develop plans for mitigating risks and delivering features that meet requirements across multiple products.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or related field.
3 years of related experience.
Required skills:
Experience with Data Visualization Tools (including Tableau and Python data visualization libraries), plus Google Workspace and Microsoft Office (3 yrs);
Experience with leading cross-functional (teams and cross-Org) programs dealing with large-scale data processing (including BigQuery, Spark, Hive, DataFlow/Beam) and programming languages (including, Python, Java, Scala, Go) (3 yrs);
Experience with running programs involving machine learning frameworks including tensorflow, pytorch and mlflow (3 yrs);
Run beta and pilot programs with early-stage products and samples (3 yrs);
Experience with DataOps & ModelOps and related set of practices, processes and methodologies (3 yrs);
Skills in an Agile & Kanban methodologies to run multiples teams (3 yrs);
Experience defining requirements from a technical customer base in the fields of computer vision and machine learning (3 yrs);
Experience in running multi-cloud (for e.g. AWS or Azure or GCP cloud plus on-prem) Data and ML platforms and service programs, in the Data and CVML domain (3 yrs);

Up to 30% domestic travel required.

In 2011, two Stanford graduate students, Jorge (the former head of precision agriculture at Trimble) and Lee (a PhD student and roboticist), met while taking Steve Blank's Lean LaunchPad course. They converged on a wild ambition: to make farming more sustainable through robotics and computer vision. Custom nozzle designs enable <1-inch spray resolution, and powerful software powers faster and more agile crop protection. See & Spray is currently operating in weeding for cotton and soybeans.
