About the Job
What You'll Do...
- Create, curate and manage strategic B2B campaigns in the UK and abroad
- Lead on B2B SEO and content strategy, conducting regular keyword research and planning content accordingly. Experience on SEMrush would be preferred.
- Create exciting content and copy to engage with existing and potential fleets/businesses.
- Along with the Head of Fleets, curate the Electroverse for Business event calendar: organising our own events, partnering with key stakeholder events, and seeking opportunities to get the Electroverse for Business branding in places where we physically can’t attend.
- Help create meaningful and engaging video content for use across different platforms
- Help curate the content calendar and quarterly e-newsletter
- Be a guardian (and champion!) of Octopus Electroverse for Business public presence and tone of voice
- Work with the Electroverse web, design and ops teams, for example, to: create new content & visuals for socials, work on web design and SEO, enhance the Electroverse for Business website to cater for engagement
- Work with our Marketing Specialist to help build brand awareness through a robust social media strategy on LinkedIn
- Think creatively about how Electroverse for Business can be a bigger and better part of the EV ecosystem, with the ultimate aim of helping Businesses transition their fleets to electric
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry and digital trends
- Help with wider tasks as we launch Electroverse for Business in more countries
What You'll Need...
- Have experience in growing a B2B brand, with particular skills in strong storytelling and narrative-lead marketing and PR
- Have experience in events. Strategically planning and executing events to promote/increase brand awareness, generate leads, and foster customer loyalty through in-person or virtual experiences.
- Have experience in digital marketing: from engagement stats and click-through rates to a wider SEO strategy and campaign management (LinkedIn Ads, Google Ads, PPC, etc.)
- Love creating content, whether that’s a straightforward social post or a high-impact advertiorial campaign
- Have an excellent understanding of audience, writing styles, and tone of voice
- Are willing to dive into the detail to enhance your understanding and use that to help customers: part of Octopus’s DNA is simplifying complex topics so that we can all easily understand
- Have experience in growing and engaging a community - understanding the needs/wants of your targeted demographic
- Are a people person and enjoy engaging and working with a diverse group of individuals
- Are genuinely passionate about building a green product, in pursuit of Octopus’s wider goal of decarbonising our planet
- Don’t need detailed knowledge of electric vehicles or emobility, but an interest and desire to know more about the industry is essential!
