The Scope We are looking for an engaged Manager EUDR who brings solid expertise and a passion for FSC’s mission in Ukraine. FSC Ukraine has faced challenges caused by martial law, social transformation processes and forest reform. At the same time, FSC remains a leader in promoting positive changes in the forest sector towards EU integration through FSC-aligned EUDR solutions.  We are seeking a dynamic, motivated individual to join on proactive and passionate FSC Ukraine team. Main Roles &amp; Responsibilities <ul><li>Develop strategy for implementing and communicating FSC-aligned EUDR solutions.</li><li>Hold workshops, training sessions and share easy guides on FSC’s EUDR-ready certification.</li><li>Advocate FSC certification as EUDR solution to diverse stakeholder groups.</li><li>Increase relevance of FSC aligned EUDR solutions for government and other key stakeholders in light of EU integration.  </li><li>Strengthen FSC’s role in shaping EU-oriented forest policy in Ukraine.</li><li>Represent FSC Ukraine in international forums, meetings, webinars, and communities.</li><li>Support FSC Ukraine’s strategic planning and delivery of national objectives.</li><li>Monitor and report progress toward FSC certification as EUDR solution.</li><li>Advance Forest Management and Chain-of-Custody initiatives for a stronger supply chain.</li><li>Coordinate with FSC International and Network Partners to align activities.</li></ul> Your profile <ul><li>Master’s degree (or higher) in Business Management, Natural Resource Management or Forestry, Environmental Science, or a related field. </li><li>At least 5 years of professional experience in relevant fields. </li><li>Experience with and up-to-date understanding of at least EUDR is required, other regulatory initiatives and sustainability frameworks are considered a plus and familiarization. </li><li>Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of sustainable forest management, conservation and restoration. </li><li>Solid understanding the value chain, wood and wood-based products industry compliance practice, needs in sustainable development and strategy towards EU policy and regulation. </li><li>Proven ability to manage budgets, timelines, and stakeholder relations effectively. </li><li>Experience with standard software packages (MS Office).</li><li>Native in Ukrainian is required. </li><li>Fluent in English (spoken and written) is required. </li></ul> Why us? <ul><li>Be part of a globally recognized organization at the forefront of sustainable forestry and contribute to the mission to help protect the world’s forests. </li><li>Play an active role in the FSC global community of 400+ forest stewards who come together in-person at least once a year. </li><li>Benefit from cross-cultural collaboration and networking opportunities by working in a dynamic, inclusive, and diverse international culture with over 60 nationalities represented under one roof. </li><li>Embrace work-life balance. </li></ul> The Fine Print <ul><li>Location: based in Kyiv, Ukraine &amp; Work from Home.</li><li>Working Hours: Part time - 20 working hours per week (0,5 FT).</li><li>Employment duration: 2 years (extension possible, subject to satisfactory performance). </li><li>Travel: Regular travel within Ukraine and occasionally to European countries.</li></ul> How to Apply  Ready to make a difference?
