Earth Observation imagery and data are key to monitoring change at scale, informing critical decisions, and ultimately helping solve the world’s most pressing problems. Our mission is to democratize access to this information, making it affordable and available for those who need it across a wide range of industries, from climate monitoring and agriculture, to energy, infrastructure and many more. We want to do our part in building a world where every organization is prepared for the challenges of tomorrow.
With about 150 employees spanning 5 countries, Satellogic is a diverse group of purpose-driven professionals across software development, satellite engineering, operations, data science, manufacturing, and sales. We are excited to grow and welcome team members who push the limits, get things done, and never stop learning—all while being humble, honest, and empathetic.

About the position
We are looking for a skilled Networking Engineer to join our IT team and take ownership of our global network infrastructure. You will design, implement, and manage secure, high-performance networks across cloud and on-premise environments, supporting everything from internal systems to satellite communication interfaces.
You’ll work cross-functionally to build automated, resilient, and scalable networking solutions—enabling safe, reliable access to mission-critical systems. This role is ideal for someone who’s deeply passionate about networking, security, and enabling fast-moving engineering teams.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement network infrastructure in both cloud and on-premises environments.
- Configure and manage networking hardware and software: switches, routers, firewalls, VPNs, load balancers.
- Develop automated solutions for provisioning and managing network components.
- Monitor and troubleshoot network performance, latency, availability, and security.
- Implement and evolve zero-trust and segmentation strategies to protect sensitive systems.
- Collaborate with DevOps and Security teams to ensure network reliability and compliance.
About You Experience
- Degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications, or equivalent experience.
- 4+ years of experience as a Network Engineer in hybrid or cloud-native environments.
- Deep knowledge of networking protocols and technologies: TCP/IP, VLANs, VPNs, NAT, DNS, DHCP, firewalls.
- Experience configuring and managing enterprise network hardware (e.g., Fortinet, Cisco, Juniper or similar).
- Solid understanding of cloud networking concepts (VPCs, peering, routing tables, security groups).
- Hands-on experience with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools (e.g., Wireshark, Zabbix).
What we value
- Familiar with infrastructure as code and automation
- Experience implementing network security best practices
- Strong collaboration skills, proactive mindset, and a drive to keep learning.
Location
This role can be performed remotely from locations within the UTC-5 to UTC+3 time zones, or preferably in a hybrid capacity from Buenos Aires. While our offices are located in Buenos Aires, Cordoba, Montevideo, and Barcelona, this position will require occasional travel to these locations.
