Carbon Power BI Developer

As a Power BI Developer (Expert), you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining advanced data visualizations, dashboards, and reports using Power BI. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including data engineers, analysts, and UX/UI designers, to transform complex data sets into actionable insights. Your expertise in Power BI will be critical in ensuring that the digital analytics application is both robust and user-friendly, meeting the needs of our global audience. 

Principal Accountabilities 

• Design and develop advanced data visualizations, dashboards, and reports using Power BI. 

• Implement data models and DAX queries to ensure efficient data retrieval and analysis. 

• Utilize advanced Power BI features, including DAX, calculated columns, and measures, to create sophisticated visualizations. 

• Collaborate with data engineers to integrate various data sources into Power BI including Snowflake and APIs 

• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and security within the Power BI environment. 

• Optimize report performance and scalability to handle large datasets efficiently 

• Provide training and support to end-users to maximize the utility of Power BI reports and dashboards. 

• Stay updated with the latest Power BI features and industry best practices to continuously improve the application.
