At Skyven, we are committed to leading this transformation by delivering scalable, high impact decarbonization solutions that reshape industrial energy use and drive meaningful climate progress.</p><p></p><p></p><h3><strong>About the Role</strong></h3><p>We are seeking a <strong>temporary</strong>, experienced PLC Software Engineer to support a short-term project (2–3 months, immediate start) focused on developing and reviewing code for our steam-generating heat pump systems. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with Siemens S7 PLCs and be comfortable working from provided sequence of operations (SOO) documents. This is a hands-on, individual contributor role ideal for someone who can quickly contribute to an ongoing development effort and support code quality through thorough reviews and testing.</p><p></p><p><strong>Requirements</strong></p><ul> <li>Developing PLC code based on detailed SOOs</li> <li>Reviewing and validating existing code against the SOO</li> <li>Assisting in the integration of PID loops, sensors, and VFDs for continuous control</li> <li>Performing bench testing of PLC code and supporting system integration efforts</li> </ul><p></p><p></p><p><strong>Benefits</strong></p><ul> <li>15-20 hours per week over 2-3 month period</li> <li>Hourly rate negotiable based on experience</li> </ul>
