Field Service Engineer

Responsibilities / Tasks

• Establish and maintain adequate commercial relationships with customers.

• Basic troubleshooting, installation, maintenance and repair on designated equipment.

• Perform the function of supervisor during the installation of lines or machinery when necessary

• Carry out the activity of coordinator during the installation of lines or machinery when necessary

• Maintenance and care of supplied tools, test equipment and ensuring that they are properly calibrated.

• Identify and participate in sales opportunities such as parts, new contracts, contract renewals and system sales.

Your Profile / Qualifications

• Secondary School Technical Diploma (Mechatronic specialization is preferable)

• Willingness to travel to Italy ( abroad for 200 days / year from Monday to Friday) for the most part in Italy but also some travel abroad.

• Willingness to work on Saturdays and Sundays as well (once a month variably)

• Very good written and spoken English (B2 min)

• Experience in technical documentation and knowledge of GEA product portfolio and served processes/ applications is a plus

• Proactivity and flexibility
