Role Description
Klir is looking for a passionate and driven Product Manager to help shape the future of the Klir product. The Product Manager will be responsible for owning and driving specific areas of the platform, ensuring the product meets customer needs and delivering a successful product to market. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of software development, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record of delivering successful software products. As Product Manager, you will work in close partnership with the development and design team, as well as collaborating across all verticals in the company. You will focus on representing the user community of the Klir product and have responsibility for advancing the product and solving problems for our users. You should have a blend of business and technical knowledge and a strategic approach to product management.
Responsibilities
- Working with existing and potential customers to understand and frame the key business needs of your customer base, the procedures and processes generally adopted and the problems that our product can solve.
- Working with cross-functional teams (architecture, dev and design) to define the solution and then supporting the product development team in an agile environment, articulating product vision and product priorities.
- Work closely with the design team to coordinate user research, define concepts and quickly iterate on potential solutions.
- Working with product leadership to further develop and manage the product roadmap from strategic planning to product delivery
- Conduct user research and usability testing to validate product hypotheses and improve the user experience
- Ensure new product releases are successfully delivered to market following our Klir product delivery processes and go-to-market plans
- Monitor and analyze product feedback to identify areas for improvement and drive product enhancements
- Continuously prioritize and adjust the product roadmap based on customer feedback, market changes, and business priorities
Requirements (Sound like you?)
- 3+ years of experience in a Product Manager / Owner role in a SaaS software environment adopting a full product management lifecycle, taking a data-driven, customer-centric design approach. Working with a data management product is a strong plus.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Strong customer focus and ability to understand and translate the voice of the customer into product strategy
- Strong analytical skills, able to analyse and understand complex scientific business processes, synthesize all research and translate these into key product ‘jobs to be done’
- Proven track record of successfully delivering software products on time and to high-quality standards
- Demonstrable experience collaborating with product development and design teams.
- Experience with Agile development methodologies and Agile project management tools
- Experience with regulatory compliance, environmental data, or water-related sectors is a strong plus.
