Your new role
As our new Consultant you will be part of our team across Europe, with technical experts and project managers. You will contribute in business development, project acquisition, feasibility studies, due diligences, design and implementation of complex biogas & biofuel projects as well as in gasification, pyrolysis and fermentation projects. Your key responsibilities will be:
Leading and managing biofuels consulting and advisory opportunities from identification, tendering to execution and delivery
Providing expert advice on biofuels technologies, including production processes, feedstock selection, and sustainability practices.
Contribution to feasibility studies, risk assessments, technology assessments, due diligences etc.
Develop and prepare with senior project managers and experts conceptual design, technical specifications for tender documents, tender evaluations as well as conduct design reviews and supervision during fabrication, erection and commissioning.
Troubleshooting and optimization of existing facilities
Increase your technical knowledge and insight through projects as well as participation in relevant technical competence teams activities.
Additional tasks:
- Business development support in the biofuels space
- Coordinating and overseeing multi-disciplinary tender and execution teams, ensuring timely and quality delivery.
- Analysing market trends, policy developments, and regulatory changes affecting the bioenergy industry.
- Proactively contribute to the work in our competence team with knowledge sharing, collection of lessons learnt and development of best practices and tools.
About you
- Previous professional working experience within the biofuels and biorefineries sector.
- Experience from biogas/biomethane and anaerobic digestion
- Knowledge of biofuels production technologies, feedstock logistics, lifecycle analysis, and sustainability standards.
- Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues, clients and contractors.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical information to other experts and non-technical audiences.
- PhD, MSc or BSc within chemical, biological, energy, process or mechanical engineering
- Interest in business travel domestically and abroad for client engagement.
- Ability to speak at conferences
