Role Purpose:

This role will form part of the Data Governance and Stewardship team, working on data governance programmes, including the Enterprise Master Data Management initiative. This individual will work closely with our Research, Data and Product functions. The successful candidate will help solve challenges around data management, pipelines, analysis and data quality.

The success of this role will require attention to detail, collaboration and problem solving. The core objective is to deliver consistent data to our clients and enable efficient data product workflows. Ensuring we have a supportive and inclusive culture within our team is essential.

Key responsibilities:

• Take ownership for delivering Enterprise Datasets that best enable our product priorities

• Together with Data, Product, Engineering and architecture agree the best approach to deliver our master datasets utilizing the optimal technical solution aligned with Platform

• Drive alignment, adoption, consistency and Governance of our Enterprise data models to deliver industry leading Analytics and Insight aligned to commercial dependencies

• Automate priority workflows, ETL and deliver efficiencies through connected datasets and integrated pipelines that provide business efficiencies or values

• Working in a cross-functional team, foster an agile, high-performance, and collaborative culture with a focus on pragmatic delivery

• Create documentation to provide clear understanding of processes in collaboration with the Data Stewardship team

• Identify and collaborate with critical business stakeholders

• Mentor Data Associates working with master datasets

Knowledge and experience:

• Strong problem solving and data investigation skills

• Strong technical foundation with proven experience in delivering data transformation projects

• MDM expertise preferred but not essential

• Some experience with coaching and mentoring individuals through change

• Experience in data quality management and related business processes

• Hands on expertise with agile methodologies, product delivery and data analysis

• Understanding of how Python and SQL can be utilized for Data delivery

• Good stakeholder engagement and communication skills

• Solid understanding of data modelling techniques and exploitation and BI tools
