Antenna is hiring a Senior Director to help lead our Real Estate practice. We are looking for an individual to inspire teams, wow clients and contribute fresh perspectives and creative ideas to the Antenna community.

This position can be based in NYC or South Florida, reporting to the Spaces practice lead. 

What you’ll doAccount Strategy and Management: 
  • Lead the  creation and presentation of integrated execution plans for successful client campaigns
  • Oversee and manage multiple simultaneous campaigns for real estate companies, ensuring high-quality service, deliverables and results 
  • Drive the creative process and encourage teammates to identify fresh approaches to clients’ programs
  • Provide strategic industry and communications counsel to client executives
  • Assign roles and responsibilities across account teams
  • Monitor the financial health of accounts and advise on retainer management
  • Ensure efficient and effective collaboration and coordination across Antenna divisions (e.g. public relations, digital marketing, creative, web development, public affairs) on account work 
Client Relations:
  • Take ultimate responsibility for client satisfaction; expediently address client concerns and requests; prioritize client retention
  •  Nurture and maintain relationships with key client contacts  
  • Ensure effective  client update calls, while strategically coaching and assigning junior staff to own portions of conversations
  • Work with junior staff to refine written and verbal communication skills, with an emphasis on delivering thoughtful recommendations and attention to detail
  • Hold junior staff accountable for timely reporting and updates to client-facing dashboards
High-Level, Strategic Execution:
  • Support account teams by driving select, high-value media opportunities
  • Drive select C-suite media traning and interview prep sessions  
Content Development:
  • Drive/support creation of key, C-suite long-form content pieces (i.e. bylines, op-eds, messaging frameworks)
  • Perform final edits on and enforce quality standards for all written materials, including press releases, bylines, case studies and sales collateral
  • Coach junior staff on how to develop compelling written materials and master the art of storytelling
  • Manage all regulatory and legal approvals with the client
Ant Management and Mentorship:
  • Work with junior staff to develop and strengthen PR skills and understanding of clients’ industries
  • Directly manage two to three junior staff members; coordinate performance reviews and make recommendations to senior management regarding salaries and titles
  • Lead and participate in agency team-building activities 
Business Development: 
  • Work with VPs and practice lead to identify and engage with potential client organizations 
  • Attend networking events and industry conferences on behalf of agency
  • Develop and present excellent strategic communications proposals 
Qualifications 
  • Experience working with B2B, B2C companies/organizations in Real Estate, Placemaking, Hospitality, Lifestlye y or similar industries 
  • 7+ years of strategic communications or related experience 
  • Excellent verbal communications skills, with strong ability to manage and navigate difficult client situations and effectively manage expectations
  • Interest in client industries and ability to understand complex subject matter  and explain them in accessible, compelling terms
  • Ability to think strategically and connect client goals/objectives with integrated marketing and PR program approaches 
  • Self-motivated, proactive and flexible 
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
