About the Job

We are seeking a hands-on, detail-oriented Assembly Technician to support the assembly of key sub-assemblies and final system builds. This role is integral to ensuring our products are built to the highest standards of safety, performance, and quality. You will be working in a small multifunctional team to constantly improve quality, cost control, productivity and safety. This is an exciting role that offers the opportunity to be at the forefront of an emerging industry and make a lasting impact on the future of energy storage.

Key Responsibilities 

1. Assembly of Sub-Systems and Final Builds 
- Assemble mechanical and electrical sub-assemblies to both defined and prototype specifications. 
- Support full BESS system builds, ensuring consistency and quality across each unit. 

2. Build Process and Documentation 
- Record all build-related data, including serial numbers, part traceability, and quality checks. 
- Provide feedback and support the development of Standard Operating Procedures (SoPs) and Bill of Process (BoP) documentation. 
- Follow defined work instructions and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. 

3. Health & Safety, Quality and Compliance 
- Conduct self-inspection and basic functional checks on completed assemblies. 
- Highlight and resolve build issues with the engineering and engineering teams. 
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment in line with company and regulatory standards
- Ensure H&S is front and centre in everything you do.  

4. Support Engineering and R&D Activities 
- Assist in prototype builds and iterative changes during development phases. 
- Provide practical input to design and engineering teams on manufacturability and serviceability.
