About the Job

We’re looking for a motivated individual with a background in biology, biochemistry, or a related field to join our lab team. In this role, you’ll work hands-on with cell cultures and protein expression to support meaningful scientific work. Ideal for someone with strong lab skills who’s eager to grow in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include:

Perform large-scale (up to 10 L) expression of recombinant proteins and virus-like particles (VLPs) by transient transfection of suspension mammalian cells across multiple expression systems, including shake flask and WAVE bioreactor technology
Work closely with other scientists in the expression group and coordinate with the protein purification and characterization groups in the facility
Optimize expression conditions for challenging proteins, including multimeric proteins, to improve yield and quality
Maintain and troubleshoot bioreactor systems, ensuring optimal performance and sterility
Analyze and interpret data from cell culture experiments, including growth curves, protein expression levels, and metabolic profiles
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate protein expression processes into larger research and development projects
Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and regulatory requirements in the laboratory
