Reasonable Accommodations may be made to enable qualified individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Accounts Payable:<ul><li>Team and individual contributor for day-to-day, monthly, quarterly, and year-end operations of Accounts Payable</li><li>Prepares monthly accruals and recording of adjusting and reclassification journal entries</li><li>Performs general accounts analysis and reconciliations for A/P</li><li>Support of internal and external vendor and customer inquiries</li><li>Coding of invoices and expenses per CalCom policies</li><li>Create, organize, and maintain all vendor and customer files.</li><li>Process vendor and supplier invoices (A/P)</li><li>Audit all received invoices against corresponding purchase orders</li><li>Complete monthly audits and processing of company credit card expense reports and payments</li><li>Assists in vendor relationship management &amp; coordination</li><li>Calculate and compute monthly sales tax accruals on materials invoices</li><li>Maintenance of the AP aging report</li><li>Assist in processing weekly vendor check runs and electronic payments</li><li>Process and file annual 1099s</li><li>Complete monthly vendor account, statement, and invoice reconciliations</li><li>Daily maintenance of the AP inbox</li></ul> Accountant:<ul><li>Performs the processing of monthly accruals, amortization of prepaid expenses,  fixed asset depreciation, and loan journal entries</li></ul><ul><li>Performs general accounts analysis and reconciliations, including fixed assets, accruals, leases, loans and prepaid expenses.</li></ul> General:<ul><li>Assists in the preparation of financial reports</li><li>Prepares reports and documentation in support of internal and external audits</li><li>Compile statistical and financial accounting reports and tables</li><li>Perform filing and general administrative tasks within the department</li><li>Assist in the formulation, analysis, and execution of new CalCom Energy accounting procedures and processes</li><li>Perform other tasks and projects as assigned by Director of Accounting or CFO</li><li>Support of Accounting system implementations and maintenance</li></ul>Knowledge, Skills, and Experience Required: <ul><li>6-9 years work experience in an A/P Specialist capacity, Bachelor’s degree preferred</li><li>ERP Accounting system experience required</li><li>Extremely strong MS Office skills – MUST be intermediate to advance in MS Excel</li><li>Excellent written/oral communication skills</li><li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills</li><li>Ability to work independently, as well as with a team, to prioritize tasks</li><li>Strong organizational skills</li><li>Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines accurately and consistently in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment</li><li>Ability to maintain the highest level of integrity and confidentiality</li></ul> Preferred:<ul><li>Construction or solar industry experience</li><li>Stable work history</li><li>Acumatica experience</li></ul>
