Reimagine What’s Possible 

Position Responsiblity:

  • Conduct Environmental Site Assessments at properties and operations that are part of pending acquisitions and divestitures to identify and assess environmental risks before deal closing.
  • Develop and implement effective Environment Strategies and work processes for new projects, facilities and operations. Identify required monitoring systems and control technologies that can impact project scope. Ensure APCCI and its subsidiaries are compliance with all China environmental laws, regulations and standards as well as all company policy and codes.
  • Interpret environmental regulatory requirements, develop environmental compliance matrices, provide initial compliance matrix training to Operations and provide ongoing compliance support and training.
  • Regularly track, review related laws, policies and regulations, find the changes and communicate the changes to the internal Stakeholder. Identify and assess emerging environmental issues and regulations that can impact Air Products operations, services, products, and EH&S permitting strategies. Participate, as needed, in trade organizations and interface with environmental agencies to advocate regulatory changes, where appropriate.
  •  Manage remediation projects to resolve identified environmental problems at Air Products facilities.
  • Manage the use of specialized environmental consultants in a cost-effective manner.
  • Develop and implement environmental programs, practices, and procedures that prevent pollution, minimize waste, assess waste disposal vendors, assist operating organizations in implementing regulatory requirements and internal standards, achieve corporate goals, and drive continuous environmental improvement.
  • Participate in Global environmental initiatives and be connected with global and regional APCI resources. Communicate local issues to the global network and implement best practices at local organizations.
  • Routine audits at all site to identify gaps with regulations or AP standards.
  • Track and administrate Compliance Management and ITS. Take lead for environmental incident investigation.
  • Participate in the local Responsible Care organization and lead effort in helping other RC members in implementing the codes.
  • Support the application of ISO 14001 certification for certain sites which are under the request from customer to obtain the certification.

 

Requirement:

At least 3 years on environment management or environment engineering.
