Salary range: $114,332.00 to $142,916.00
Job Summary
The IT Business Systems Analyst will support development and ongoing maintenance pertaining to our O&M and Logistics business areas. Responsibilities entail supporting and maintaining the systems, debugging issues, and designing, testing and rolling out new or current applications enhancements, ensuring consistency with company strategy, standards, commitments and goals.
Key Responsibilities
The Business Systems Analyst will be responsible for requirement gatherings, technical analysis, design, reviews, test and roll out of business applications ranging from small enhancements to large projects.
Work in a multicultural international environment designing solutions with key stakeholders distributed in different continents. The ability to manage global time differences is a key function of this position.
Work with customer business SME’s and users at different stages of engagement to provide solutions to their requirements
Map business requirements to technical architectures, standards, and reusable assets
Translate business requirements into functional and technical analysis/design, and manage software factories to develop, customize and modify applications
Technically responsible for the application development life cycle from business requirements gathering to project roll out and training
Support production configuration and assist in functional change requests
Categorize and prioritize analysis and mapping workload for planning and forecasting
Work within all aspects of system integration, data management, and have significant experience in leading such engagements
Participate in the continued innovation and digitalization of our applications pertaining to our generation fleet
Note: The Global Systems are managed in Europe which could require some early morning meetings (starting as early as 6 am) for team meetings, review projects, troubleshooting, support, etc.
Required Qualifications
5+ years of experience in systems analysis/design
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field or the equivalent combination of education and experience
Should have experience in data migration activities
Strong software testing capabilities
Experience with database management systems, e.g. Oracle, SQL Server, etc.
Experience with participating in projects in a highly collaborative, multicultural development team environment
Excellent skills preparing functional specifications, technical documentation and preparing training materials
Must possess excellent oral and written communication as well as good interpersonal skills
Preferred Qualifications
Ability to foster and participate in a productive team environment
Flexible, creative, and solution-focused outlook on problem solving
MicroStrategy experience
Business workflow/automation experience, e.g. JIRA, ServiceNow, etc.
Experience with Office 365 business tools, e.g. Teams, PowerApps, Flow, etc.
