(Senior) Product Developer - Embedded systems

We are seeking a passionate Product Developer to join our team, specializing in embedded development for our cutting-edge automation system. This role offers the flexibility of hybrid remote work, in Vaasa, Finland as your location. Helsinki can also be considered as a location. What are your main tasks and responsibilities:

• You enjoy working in an environment where learning is a big part of the development process and experiment and aren’t afraid to learn from failures

• You are a team player and embrace opportunities to help other developers grow

• You enjoy creating efficient and scalable products that have an impact on the world

• You thrive on the collaborative design and development of useful products in a shared code environment

• You are a key part of the development and maintenance of our embedded automation platform

• You have used the C/C++ programming language in practice

• You have experience in at least 2 of these areas:

  • Linux drivers

  • FPGA coding (VHDL)

  • Yocto

  • Hardware abstraction layers APIs knowledge

It’s a big plus if you have previous experience with:

• Experience in communication interfaces such as I2C, SPI, PCI Express

• Experience in  automating tests, e.g. Robot Framework Testing

• Pair or mob programming

• Basic knowledge of microcontrollers, CPUs, memories
