You will work closely with teams across the engineering group to deliver world-class vehicle dynamics-shaping functions from concept to production.  **A strong desire to create state-of-the-art engineering products as an integral part of a very capable team** Role: <ul><li>Develop, plan, and execute validation for software and hardware related to braking, steering and suspension control systems with excellence and great detail </li><li>Create and execute system design validation plans for virtual, HiL and vehicle environments </li><li>Develop test procedures, align with homologation, and write and maintain validation reports </li><li>Develop, build and maintain validation infrastructure (SiL &amp; HiL) </li><li>Support test automation and continuous integration </li><li>Support root cause analysis for issues identified during testing and propose corrective actions </li><li>Work with multiple complex projects in a demanding environment </li><li>Travel domestically and internationally as required </li></ul>Qualifications: <ul><li>2+ years of software/hardware testing experience </li><li>Understanding of Vehicle Dynamics theory </li><li>Hands-on practical experience in prototype development </li><li>Ability to read and work with electrical schematics </li><li>Understanding of automotive communication protocols </li></ul>  Advantageous: <ul><li>Experience with verification/validation of control units </li><li>Experience with Vector tools (CANape, CANalyzer, CDMStudio, etc.) </li><li>Proficiency with software development (Matlab/Python/CAPL scripting, model based) </li><li>Familiarity with ECE and FMVSS test regulations </li><li>Vehicle testing experience is a plus  </li><li>Desire for continual learning </li><li>Excellent problem-solving ability, with an ability to use fundamental principles and data-driven action  </li></ul>Education: <ul><li>BS/BEng or MS/MEng in a relevant Engineering/Physics/Mathematics discipline, or equivalent experience </li></ul><div><div>Additional Compensation and Benefits: Lucid offers a wide range of competitive benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability insurance, vacation, and 401k.
