Job Description


Human Resources Services (HRS) is an internal function providing global operations and business support across Brookfield’s lines of business.


Position Summary 


We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Workday Reporting Analyst and Allocations Support professional to join our Human Resources Services (HRS) team. Reporting to the Senior Analyst, People Allocations, this role combines technical Workday reporting expertise with financial and operational support for People Cost Allocations across the Real Estate group. 

This position is ideal for someone early in their career who will be skilled in data analysis and reporting and eager to develop subject matter expertise in both HR systems and financial allocations.  

 
Key Responsibilities 


Allocations Support 

  • Help configure and maintain Workday to support time allocation processes. 

  • Support the documentation of allocation methodologies, processes, and audit trails. 

  • Contribute to the generation and reconciliation of payroll-related financial reports. 

  •  Investigate and explain basic payroll variances or trends. 


Workday Reporting & Analytics

  • Respond to a range of Workday reporting requests with varying complexity from HR and business stakeholders. 

  • Build and maintain custom reports, including advanced, matrix, and calculated field reports, tailored to the needs of the Real Estate Finance team. 

  • Analyze and present payroll data in a clear, accurate, and actionable format. 

  • Support the scheduling and automation of recurring reports to ensure timely delivery. 

  • Collaborate with HR and Finance to gather reporting requirements and improve standard reporting templates. 

  • Troubleshoot and resolve data discrepancies; contribute to data quality and reporting accuracy. 

  • Stay current on Workday functionality through training and apply new features to streamline reporting. 


Ad Hoc Data Support 

  • Respond to routine ad hoc data and financial requests to support decision-making. 

  • Compile and organize data for use in models, presentations, or management reports. 

  • Follow established procedures to maintain compliance with internal controls and policies 

  • Assist in audits and compliance reviews by providing accurate, well-organized documentation. 


Qualifications 

  • 1–3 years of experience in reporting, data analysis field. HR or Finance experiences is a plus  

  • Bachelor’s degree required. Major in Business, HR, Finance, or related discipline is a plus.  

  • Familiarity with Workday reporting and payroll is a plus Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, lookups) and the broader MS Office Suite. 

  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail; comfortable working with large datasets. 

  • Proven ability to work independently, take initiative, and drive work forward proactively. 

  • Ability to manage multiple requests and meet tight deadlines in a dynamic environment.


Salary Range: $70,000 - $85,000


Our compensation structure is comprised of a base salary and a short-term incentive program (cash bonus). Cash compensation tends to vary based on geography to account for local market conditions and is set to be market competitive. Compensation decisions are based on a number of factors including relative experience, overall years of experience, industry experience, education, and designations.
