Founded in 2020, Alloy is a 45-person hardtech startup that has raised over $50M in capital and is shipping components to customers manufacturing servers, lasers, semiconductor equipment, and defense systems.About the roleReporting to the Director of Parts Production, the CNC Machinist will be responsible for the programming and operation of Alloy’s CNC machines in-house CNC shop. This person will provide feedback to the applications engineering team regarding part feasibility, and machinability while finding creative and scalable solutions to support Alloy’s Stack Forging process. This is a critical role in Alloy’s production operation, influencing the manufacturing process of nearly every part delivered. This role requires 5 days onsite per week.Responsibilities*Responsibilities are subject to change based on shifting business needs.<ul style=""><li>Engage with Sales and Applications Engineering in pre-sales discussions, offering feedback to facilitate the manufacturing of customer parts.</li><li>Program and cut parts, purchase materials and tooling.
