Overview:The contract APSCA Social Auditor is responsible for conducting audits in accordance with quality management systems for a variety of social compliance audit programs. The APSCA Social Auditor will complete on-site and remote audits for SCS and shall be responsible for the completion and submission of audit reports, a summary of findings, and associated audit evidence.This is a contract position with the potential to convert to a full-time staff auditor upon satisfactory performance. We are looking for an APSCA Social Auditor in the United States.Relevant Services/Schemes:<ul> <li>Sedex Members Ethical Trade Audit (SMETA)</li> <li>Equitable Food Initiative (If interested/applicable)</li> <li>Other Social Compliance Programs, as applicable</li></ul>Scope of Work:Audit Coordination<ul> <li>Schedule and confirm audit date with coordinator </li> <li>Support coordinator with client audit plan according to protocols</li> <li>Book travel, hotel, and transportation according to company policy, and submit expense reports</li></ul>Audit Services<ul> <li>Adhere to all quality and code of conduct standards</li> <li>Conduct audits using applicable checklists, forms, and tools</li> <li>Maintain positive client relationships and respond to all client inquiries and concerns</li> <li>Submit complete and accurate audit reports within established timelines</li> <li>Ensure thorough client records are maintained</li></ul>Program Quality and Compliance<ul> <li>Conduct witness audits</li> <li>Attend trainings to maintain qualifications to conduct audits; maintain training records</li> <li>Maintain up to date knowledge of legal regulations and standards</li></ul>Minimum Qualifications:<ul> <li>Fluent in spoken and written English and advanced in Spanish</li> <li>APSCA certified (CSCA) or Registered Auditor status (RA)</li> <li>Associate’s Degree and/or 5+ years of social compliance auditing experience </li> <li>Experience with quality management systems, 2nd and/or 3rd party certifications, </li> <li>Strong communication and customer service skills</li> <li>Well-developed organizational and time management skills</li> <li>Strong computer skills, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and Database systems</li> <li>Willing to travel within the Continental US and Canada</li></ul>Please note all applicants must submit applicable APSCA certificate or proof of completion along with auditing log to be considered.
