We’re looking for a self-driven engineer who’s passionate about building the future of autonomous delivery!Responsibilities<ul style=""><li>Develop software for robot powertrain components and functions.</li><li>Design and implement systems for measuring system performance and efficiency.</li><li>Work closely with systems, electrical, and mechanical teams to architect robust cross-functional solutions.</li><li>Support integration of new hardware components and bringup of new platforms.</li><li>Provide technical leadership and mentorship to other team members.</li></ul> Qualifications<ul style=""><li>Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.</li><li>5+ years experience developing production C++ code (C++17 and newer preferred).</li><li>Experience developing embedded software targeting both Linux and RTOS.</li><li>Experience developing systems with safety and real-time requirements.</li><li>Experience implementing feedback control systems.</li><li>Experience with communication interfaces including CAN, UART, I2C, and Ethernet.</li><li>Track record of taking vaguely defined problems and converting them into robust production solutions.</li></ul>What makes you stand out<ul style=""><li>Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.</li><li>Experience in mobile robotics or electric vehicle development.</li><li>Comfortable working hands on with electronics, motors, and batteries.</li><li>System modeling and control system design experience.</li><li>Understanding of electric motors and their control methods.</li><li>Vehicle dynamics knowledge is a bonus.</li></ul>
