This is how you will grow:
Work with TPMs and the Engineering Leads to ensure that all defects are properly documented and updated, and that relevant information is communicated effectively.
Work with Development and Feature TPMs to ensure that defects have clear ownership and that the next steps are clearly defined.
Work closely with Component ECU-level TPMs, development, verification and validation, and product management stakeholders to ensure clear communication regarding defects and their status.
Ensure that bug boards assess and prioritize defects based on severity, impact, and customer requirements to address critical issues promptly.
Hold regular reviews for critical defects to ensure timely closure.
Generate weekly defect reports on defect trends, and the status of defect resolution to stakeholders at the Bug, Release, and Program reviews.
Define, measure, and report on defect management SLAs.
Evaluate the risks associated with defects and make recommendations for mitigation strategies.
Collaborate with the stakeholders, perform analysis to determine the root cause of defects, and facilitate discussions to prevent recurrence.
Identify areas for process improvements in defect management and quality assurance practices.

Requirements
This is how you will take us forward:
Years of Experience Required: 7-10 years
Degrees or certifications required: Computer Science BS
Quality, Tester, Software PM experience, auto industry experience all required
Must understand defect management process. Defects closed is main KPI;
Software Development lifecycle experience needed
Experience with Jira, dashboard, PM management software
Proficient in Smartsheet and MS Projects
JAMA, GIT configuration management tool
