Job Description
Albemarle seeks a talented Master Data Coordinator to join its Master Data Management team within Global Business Services. This position works within a Master Data team that is geographically dispersed and collaborates with Data Partners to build and operate sustainable processes and services to deliver trusted quality Master Data fit for business processes and reporting. We are a global operation with regional presence and seek to care and sustain the Customer, Vendor, Material, and Finance Master Data for which we are responsible in systems including SAP, Salesforce.com, and Workday.
The Master Data Coordinator has daily operation responsibility to manage global master data requests to deliver trusted and timely data across various master data domains to the Albemarle enterprise. This role reports to the Master Data Team Lead within Global Business Services and is governed by policies and frameworks established by Albemarle.
What You Will Do:
Execute Master Data creations and changes for materials, customers, vendors, and other types of master data as may be required
Daily attention to efficiency and timeliness of process to achieve service level agreements with data owners to ensure consistent and expected performance achieved
Provide first line support on operational master data processes to cross functional departments participating in requests
Perform data quality checks for correctness and completeness according to defined business rules
Identify and correct minor issues with the processes or tools in a timely and collaborative manner
Troubleshoot, research, and understand the correlation of data in day-to-day operations
Resource for user community on process and data requirements
Build and maintain effective working relationships with master data customers
Work collaboratively with Business Process Master Data Stewards to implement process and data improvements based on analytics and trends from data governance evaluations to support shared responsibility for high quality data

Expert User of MS Excel, Proficient User of Word, PowerPoint
Required:
College or University degree
1 – 3 years of experience in Master Data, Customer Service, Manufacturing or Supply Chain - Advantage
Preferred:
SAP Experience a plus
Other language knowledge (Chinese, Spanish, German) a plus
