R&D Team Intern

Nyobolt is an ultra-fast charging technology company, delivering uniquely capable solutions that save valuable time and help build an exciting and sustainable future. Nyobolt develops, manufactures, and commercialises lithium-ion batteries which charge in minutes. Nyobolt is distinct in offering integrated solutions that encompass new material development and production, battery manufacturing, and the design and fabrication of fast-charging and high-power devices. Our battery technology spans a range of applications, from electric vehicles to robots and cordless appliances.  

The R&D team, based in Impington, UK, are inviting undergraduate and postgraduate student interns to join the team. We are looking for motivated and hands-on team players, with an interest in materials science and battery technology. You will be involved in developing and understanding new Li-ion technologies and will have the opportunity to gain experience with electrochemical experiments and characterisation techniques. You will be working as part of a multi-faceted team within the company.

Key Requirements:

• Be studying for, or have just completed, an undergraduate or postgraduate science or engineering degree
• Have an interest in battery technology, electrochemistry and hands-on practical laboratory work
• Have experience in design of experiments and data analysis

Location:

Impington, Cambridge CB24 9NG. Role is onsite – must be able to travel here on a daily basis.
