Fixed Asset (FA), Inventory & Capex Analyst

We’re looking for a Fixed Asset (FA), Inventory and Capex Analyst and the main job function is to lead the Fixed Asset, Inventory and Capex reporting processes across Asia and AUSPAC ensuring accurate reporting of the metrics. This role reports to the Regional Financial Controller, based in Singapore.

What you’ll do:

• Capex and Depreciation Analysis: Conduct monthly regional analysis of capital expenditure (Capex) and depreciation to support month-end closing procedures.

• Capex Forecasting: Prepare monthly and quarterly Capex forecasts in collaboration with key business stakeholders (MD, HOF, HOO).

• Budget Support: Assist the budget process by regularly reviewing the fleet in coordination with Fleet Management.

• BPO Liaison for Assets & Inventory: Serve as the subject matter expert and primary contact for the Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) team regarding asset, depreciation, and inventory matters.

• Inventory Optimization: Perform monthly inventory analysis to optimize regional stock levels, identifying risks and opportunities for working capital improvement.

• Fixed Asset Process Management: Oversee the fixed asset process, coordinating closely with Wipro BPO, the Aggreko Fleet Team, and country finance teams.

• Stock Valuation & Asset Verification: Support the business with stock valuation and asset verification processes conducted periodically.

• Reporting Development: Help develop standard reporting templates and metrics, collaborating with Global and Local Fleet Management and regional Controllers.

• Performance Insights: Utilize Aggreko's business intelligence system and month-end analysis to provide performance insights to Finance, Operations, and Fleet Management.

• Audit Assistance: Provide assistance for internal and external audit requirements as they arise.

You’ll have the following skills and experience:

• Educational Background: Holds a Bachelor's or Master's degree from an accredited institution, or possesses equivalent work experience. An accounting or auditing professional qualification is a plus.

• Experience: A minimum of 8 years of relevant accounting experience with a focus on Fixed Assets and Inventory reporting.

• Communication Skills: Possesses excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and spoken.

• Language Proficiency: Demonstrates fluent command of the English language.

• Technical Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

•  Adaptability: Adaptable and thrives in highly dynamic environments.

• Integrity & Credibility: Exhibits a high level of credibility and handles sensitive information with discretion.

• Stakeholder Engagement: Proactive in communicating and engaging with stakeholders.

• Organizational Skills: Possesses effective planning, organizational, and time management skills.

• Quality & Detail-Oriented: Quality-oriented with strong attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines.
