Position Summary:
The purpose of this position is to perform shipping, receiving, and inventory control functions in support of Astemo’s manufacturing operations. This role will ensure that materials, parts, and finished products are handled efficiently and accurately, directly contributing to the production flow and timely delivery of goods to customers. Effective inventory control is a key aspect of this role, ensuring that stock levels are properly maintained, discrepancies are minimized, and the warehouse environment is organized and efficient.
Minimum Requirements (Education, Experience, and Skills):
- High School Diploma
- Glovia experience
- 2 years’ warehouse experience and/or Inventory Control experience
- Intermediate experience required in Windows, MSWord, Excel, and PowerPoint
Preferred Requirements (Education, Experience, and Skills):
- 2 or 4-year College Degree in Related Field or equivalent
Description of Duties and Responsibilities / Weight of Importance %
- Pick, stage, and load outbound shipments: 35%
- Unload, verify, receive, and stock all incoming material: 35%
- Assist with Inventory Control functions, including transfers, cycle counts, reconciliation, and reporting: 20%
- Complete and maintain accurate documents, and records: 5%
- Perform Other Duties As Assigned: 5%
Skills and Abilities:
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, high level of accuracy
- Proven ability to:
- Promote and carry out the “Astemo Philosophy” and “5 Joys”
- Follow policies, procedures and written or verbal instructions, exercise good judgment, and perform job duties with a minimum of direct supervision.
- Confer with and prepares reports for management, and other Keihin companies, and suppliers.
- Maintain clean and orderly work environment
- Provide timely, regular communication with peers and management concerning job-related issues.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to interact with all levels of organization.

Software:
- Intermediate experience required in Windows, MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Advance proficiency with Glovia
Essential to Job Functions – Physical and/or Mental Restrictions:
- Ability to work for long periods of time while sitting
- Standing, walking, and bending for the duration of the work day
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
- Visual ability to work accurately with detailed information and a computer screen
- Full Motor Skills
Work Environment – Travel, Noise, Smells, Quiet, Indoors or Outdoors, etc.
- Warehouse setting with forklifts and moderate noise
