About the Job
- Receive and unload products from trucks in a safe manner.
- Inspect incoming and outgoing materials and notifying appropriate staff of potential quality issues or shortages.
- Move shipments to appropriate department or storage area in a safe manner.
- Put away stock according to location on stock ticket.
- Pick products to fill customer order – verifying location and quantity.
- Pack and verify finished product in boxes for shipping.
- Determining shipping priorities, work assignments and shipping methods required to meet shipping and receiving schedule.
- Maintain a clean, safe and organized work environment.
- Oversee the daily department activities
