We are looking for a Full Stack Engineer to join our team for a short-term contract, with the possibility to extend. You will be developing and maintaining the user interface of our platform, ensuring a seamless and engaging user experience. You will work hand in hand with our lead Full Stack Engineer and our Product Designer.We are an early stage company dedicated to fostering collaboration and helping companies build shared, impactful biodiversity initiatives across their value chains. It doesn’t need to be a full cover letter, just a few lines to show you’ve read the offer and are genuinely interested.<h3>Key Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Develop and maintain web applications using ReactJS/NextJS.</li><li>Collaborate with product team to implement UI/UX designs from Figma into interactive web pages.</li><li>Optimize web applications for performance, scalability, and security.</li><li>Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.</li><li>Write clean, maintainable, and testable code.</li><li>Troubleshoot and debug issues in a timely manner.</li></ul><h3>Qualifications</h3><ul><li>Proven experience as a Full Stack Engineer with expertise in ReactJS / NextJS.</li><li>Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.</li><li>Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.</li><li>Advanced to fluent English (C1 or C2).</li><li>Product and user-oriented mindset.</li></ul><h3>Preferred Qualifications</h3><ul><li>You don’t just ship code, you think about the product. You're excited by the mission, curious about user needs, and want to be involved in shaping the direction.</li><li>Experience working with scientific and geopspatial datasets</li><li>Experience with other frontend frameworks and libraries.</li><li>Familiarity with modern web development tools and practices, such as:<ul><li>Prisma as our ORM for seamless database interactions.</li><li>Vercel for deployments and serverless functions.</li><li>Auth0 for user authentication and management.</li><li>Sentry for error tracking and monitoring in production.</li></ul></li><li>Understanding of RESTful APIs and web services.</li><li>Experience working with Mapbox</li><li>Experience working in a product team</li><li>Experience working with a small multitasking team</li></ul>
