Our facilities are in Canton, Michigan.&nbsp;Job Summary:&nbsp;We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven&nbsp;Sales Representative&nbsp;to join our team selling to the building materials industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying and engaging with potential clients, including contractors, architects, commercial building owners, and other potential vertical markets. This role involves selling high-quality coatings designed for energy efficiency, UV protection and open-air stability for longer lasting windows. If you have a passion for sales and experience in building materials, coatings, or related industries, we encourage you to apply.&nbsp;Key Responsibilities:&nbsp;<ul><li>Prospect and Generate Leads:&nbsp;Identify and engage potential customers, commercial and residential contractors, window fabrication businesses, and window ecosystem partners including manufacturers of glass or polymeric material.</li><li>This role involves selling high-quality&nbsp;coatings designed for energy efficiency, UV protection and open-air stability for longer lasting&nbsp;windows, secondary-glazing, and commercial retrofit&nbsp;opportunities.&nbsp;</li><li>Product Presentation:&nbsp;Educate clients on the benefits of window coatings, including heat reduction, glare control, open-air stability, UV protection, and recommend solutions based on their needs.</li><li>Sales &amp; Negotiation:&nbsp;Develop customized sales proposals, negotiate pricing, and close deals to meet or exceed sales targets.</li><li>Customer Relationship Management:&nbsp;Maintain strong relationships with existing clients and provide exceptional post-sales support.</li><li>Market &amp; Industry Awareness:&nbsp;Stay updated on industry trends, competitor offerings, and innovations in window coating materials.</li><li>Sales Reporting:&nbsp;Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and market feedback using CRM software.</li><li>Collaboration:&nbsp;Work closely with the marketing and operations teams to ensure seamless order fulfillment and customer satisfaction.</li></ul>&nbsp;Qualifications &amp; Requirements:&nbsp;<ul><li>Experience:&nbsp;5+ years of sales experience in the building materials, coatings, glass treatments, or related industry preferred.</li><li>Skills:&nbsp;Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.</li><li>Knowledge:&nbsp;Familiarity with window coatings, glass or polymeric material &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;manufacturers, or similar products is a plus.</li><li>Self-Motivated:&nbsp;Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.</li><li>Technology:&nbsp;Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office.</li><li>Education:&nbsp;Bachelor's degree in business, sales, or a related field preferred but not required.</li></ul>&nbsp;Compensation &amp; Benefits:&nbsp;<ul><li>Competitive base salary + commission structure.</li><li>Flexible vacations days.&nbsp;</li><li>Health insurance, stock options, and other future benefits.</li><li>Opportunities for professional growth and industry training.</li><li>Company vehicle or travel reimbursement for client visits (if applicable).</li></ul>&nbsp;&nbsp;
