The Human Resources Coordinator provides administrative and functional support in areas of the Human Resources Department.  This is a high-visibility position that will interact with various employee levels within the organization.   This role will primarily support pre-employment and onboarding programs.  


Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Perform various administrative and/or clerical tasks to support the Human Resources Department.  Primary responsibility will be employment offer letters, background checks, and various items related to new hire onboarding.
  • Assist in day one onboarding of new hires to include new hire orientation, new hire paperwork, I-9 verification.  
  • Prepare and track new hire, vendor, transfer reports, reporting on referrals.  Communicate data as appropriate.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:

  • 2-4 years’ experience working in a professional office atmosphere; some HR experience a plus
  • Strong ability to establish credibility, trust, and partnership at all levels of organization
  • Effective interpersonal skills, including ability to resolve issues
  • High level of confidentiality to handle sensitive/confidential situations and documentation
  • Strong work ethic with ability to be resourceful in meeting new challenges
  • High degree of organizational skill and detail orientation
  • Effectively communicate (oral & written) with at all levels of organization
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office and other computer programs

Compensation: $24-$29/HR
