About the role 

Chloris Geospatial is looking for a Senior Product Manager to lead the design and development of the Chloris Platform, which enables our customers to gain insights from global carbon stock and change data. This is a hands-on role that may transition to a Head of Product Role as the company grows. In order to be successful in leading the product strategy and design for Chloris, we are searching for a candidate with a strong technical background and experience with nature-based solutions, ideally within the voluntary carbon markets (VCM) and/or the forest, land, and agricultural (FLAG) sectors. 

This role will report to the CTO and work cross-functionally with the technical and commercial teams. 

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with senior leadership to set the overall product strategy
• Own the product roadmap and manage major initiatives
• Create buy-in for major initiatives by aligning key stakeholders
• Translate high-level product requirements into technical tasks 
• Drive forward key initiatives through their full lifecycle from inception to development to go-to-market
  
  

Qualifications 

Must have:

• 5+ years of product management experience
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in science or engineering
• Experience working with the full product lifecycle of B2B SaaS products 
• Experience working with cross-functional teams (engineering, science marketing, and customer success) 
• Experience managing complex projects 
• Excellent problem solving, analytical, and communication skills
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills
  
  

Highly desirable:

• Experience in the design, verification, or validation of forestry projects in the carbon markets; facility with VCM approaches and methodologies; experience in the design and/or implementation of spaceborne remote-sensing solutions for forest carbon baselining and MRV
• Experience with Geospatial, Remote Sensing, or Earth Observation data 
• Experience at an early stage company/startup

While we don't expect to find someone with all these skills and qualifications, a mix of technical and commercial experience is essential. 

Location + Time Commitment 

This is a full-time, hybrid position in Boston, MA. Chloris is a hybrid-first company with a transatlantic team based throughout Western Europe and the United States, concentrated near our Boston headquarters. We are committed to providing a hybrid work environment that allows for in-person and on-site collaboration two days/week, quarterly all-hands retreats, as well as the benefits that come from flexible, work-from-anywhere arrangements.
