About the Job

Are you passionate about precision and enjoy making a real impact behind the scenes? In this role, you’ll be at the heart of our payroll operations—ensuring payroll data is accurate, every record is up to date, and your team members are supported. You’ll play a key role in keeping our payroll process smooth, timely, and compliant, while working closely with HR and other departments to support our people.

How will I spend my time in this role? 

  • Maintain the payroll system by administering accurate and timely payroll data. Updating records for new hires, leavers, and contract variations;
  • Ensure data quality through meticulous review of input data and regular reconciliation checks with internal systems;
  • Input and maintain monthly sickness reports, generate reports in BambooHR, and input data in ADP for processing;
  • Pension Auto-Enrolment, including employee letters, uploads, and payments;
  • Support in collaborating with Human Resources to ensure timely and complete submission of all payroll-related data. Such as annual leave, sickness, and maternity leave;
  • Prepare payroll and benefits monthly journals;
  • Support and maintain internal and external relationships;
  • Distribute monthly P45 to leavers;
  • Adhering to GDPR and ensuring all payroll data is protected. compliance with legal and regulatory requirements;
  • Resolve payroll queries from both internal and external stakeholders;
  • Assist in administering Employee benefits;
  • Ad hoc duties as and when requested.

    What skills/experience do I need to be successful?

    • Experience and a strong working knowledge in using Excel, and a basic understanding of Microsoft Outlook and Word;
    • Excellent Mathematical Skills;
    • Proven experience in data entry at a level ensuring the accuracy required for payroll processing;
    • Experience meeting conflicting deadlines and changing situations with ability to work independently;
    • Knowledge of how to deal with sensitive information/GDPR regulations.

    What does hybrid working mean to us?

    Hybrid working typically means 2 days in the office location listed on this advert and 3 days working at home each week. Some occasional travel to our other offices may be required.
