About the Job
Our team is seeking an experienced warehouse manager who takes pride in maintaining seamless, efficient, and highly organized solar operations.
Inventory Management
- Track, receive, and organize solar equipment (panels, inverters, racking, etc.)
- Manage reorder points and minimize material shortages
- Ensure accurate inventory counts and system updates
Shipping & Receiving
- Oversee incoming deliveries and outgoing job-site shipments
- Inspect deliveries for accuracy and damage
- Coordinate return processes for defective or excess equipment
Job Kit Preparation
- Pull, stage, and label materials for upcoming installations
- Verify that each install team gets the correct components
- Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and OSHA-compliant
- Implement safety protocols for storing and handling heavy or electrical equipment
- Conduct regular inspections and maintenance
Vendor Coordination
- Handle warranty returns or exchanges as needed
- Communicate with suppliers and manufacturers regarding order status, timelines, and issues
Reporting & Documentation
- Maintain accurate records of inventory, receipts, and deliveries
- Assist in preparing usage reports or tracking installation trends
- Maintain a high standard of productivity and accountability
Requirements
- Must be able to lift up to 50lbs regularly
- Must use safety equipment per protocol
- Must be able to operate warehouse equipment (i.e. forklift, pallet jack, safety cutter, etc)
- Must be willing to work on your feet for long periods of time
- Must maintain a professional attitude
- Must be able to maintain continual improvement
- Must be encouraging to the team and other staff members
- Must be able to focus on internal customer service
- General computer skills, required
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, required
- High attention to detail, required
- Previous warehouse experience, strongly preferred
- OSHA 10 certification, preferred
