This position will train for the first 8-12 weeks on the 1st Shift before transitioning to the 2nd shift.Primary Duties &amp; Responsibilities:<ul><li>Align and test optical systems using interferometry, alignment telescope, and optical inspection devices.</li><li>Work with assembly and inspection tools such as torque wrenches, micrometers, calipers, height gages, and dial indicators.</li><li>Environmental testing of opto-mechanical systems using thermal chambers and vibration machines.</li><li>Document actions by completing checklists.</li><li>Maintain safe and clean work environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.</li><li>General lab maintenance as necessary.</li></ul>Job Qualifications:<ul><li>High school diploma or 1-2 years of relevant experience in a similar position/field is strongly preferred.</li><li>Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a progressive manufacturing industry is preferred.</li><li>Optical alignment and test experience desired.</li><li>Assembly experience desired.</li><li>Ability to read assembly drawings and process instructions.</li><li>Experience using standard hand tools – Allen wrenches, screw drivers, torque wrenches, etc.</li><li>Familiarity with computers as applicable to manufacturing.</li><li>Possess a solid, quality minded work ethic and strong attention to detail.</li><li>Interface in a collaborative manner to foster effective and inspiring group dynamics is preferred.</li></ul>Applicants must be either a U.S. citizen, U.S. national, legal permanent resident, asylee, refugee or must be eligible to apply for and obtain the appropriate export control license from the U.S. Departments of State or Commerce  Salary Range: $49,300.00-$65,700.000Pay TransparencyThe anticipated salary range listed for this role is only an estimate.
